At the end of every season, the club gets together for a dinner dance and celebrates another successful year. We all make merry, enjoy the good food and drink the fine(!) wine. Then Reaper stands up and introduces us to someone we've never heard of who then presents the prizes that the club has decided to bestow. Once I've picked up the 4th XI Player Of The Season, we all get down and boogie to the soulful grooves.
Dinner Dance 2000 was a prime example of its genre. The older members of the club got drunk, the younger members looked on disapprovingly and I won 4th XI Player Of The Season (again). Unfortunately, there are no pictures available, mainly because I haven't managed to get hold of the originals to scan in. I will though. I Promise.
