Please can you pass on huge thanks to everyone involved in the Mini tournament today at Bournemouth. My two had a really wonderful first experience of playing as part of a team; I really don’t think it could have been any more positive for them. I’ve been so impressed with how friendly and supportive everyone from the club has been, and the coaches who were there today were really great with all the children.

My 7 year old has been a slightly reluctant hockey player but she came off the pitch today full of smiles and saying how much she loved it (possibly assisted by the rather large side order of snacks which some of the other parents had so generously provided!), and most importantly of all, looking forward to playing again next time.

Well done Southampton hockey club!
